The Brumbies will be without Tevita Kuridrani for around two months after the Wallaby suffered a shoulder injury against the Waratahs.
Kuridrani, who signed a new deal with the Brumbies and ARU last week, damaged his AC joint making a tackle in the second half in Sydney. He will however not require surgery.
Brumbies head coach Stephen Larkham discussed the options to replace Kuridrani post-match, with one being to move Henry Speight infield.
"Depending on how he gets through, he's likely to be out for two months," Larkham told the Canberra Times.
"We've got a number of options there.
"There's Dargaville, Henry has played a bit of number 13, Nigel Ah Wong is coming off injury, Jesse Mogg is back and Lausii Taliauli as well as Rod Iona."
