The Ospreys have suffered another injury setback as prop Cai Griffiths requires surgery that will rule him out for the rest of the season.
Griffiths sustained an arm injury in the early stages of last Saturday's win over Bath, which forced him off towards the end of the opening quarter, and scans have revealed the extent of the problem.
"Cai has suffered a ruptured bicep, with the area affected on the inside of his elbow. He is having an operation, with the best case scenario being a four month rehabilitation period," Medical Performance Manager, Chris Towers, told the Ospreys.
