Scarlets, Wales and British & Irish Lions hooker Ken Owens returns to lead the Welsh region in Friday's Champions Cup clash with Bath at Parc y Scarlets.
With only five days between the opening two rounds, and a bruising opening round against Toulon on Sunday, Scarlets head coach Wayne Pivac has made some changes to the side that got the European campaign underway.
Owens returns to lead the side and joins international props Wyn Jones and Samson Lee in the front row. Lewis Rawlins joins Jake Ball in the second row with Will Boyde making a return to the back row following his late absence from last week's 23.
Scrum-half Gareth Davies returns to partner Rhys Patchell with Hadleigh Parkes joining British & Irish Lion Jonathan Davies in the centre.
The back-three of Leigh Halfpenny, Johnny Mcnicholl and Steff Evans remains unchanged.
Speaking ahead of the must-win clash Pivac said: "We see it as a must win match. It's a home game; to do well in this competition you have to win your home games and then be successful on the road at some stage.
"We got a bonus point out in Toulon but for that to have an impact we have to back it up with a win on Friday.
"They're going to be a tough opponent. They'll want to get a win on the road first up against us.
"We don't change too much. We've had success playing a certain way. We're not far off against some of the best sides going around."
Meanwhile, Luke Charteris and Rhys Priestland will return to Bath's starting line-up for this encounter.
Priestland, who has missed the last two games through injury, returns at fly-half to face his former club, whilst his compatriot Charteris takes his place in the second row.
Another player completing his comeback is Nathan Catt, who could make his 150th appearance for Bath after being named amongst the replacements.
Anthony Watson, Semesa Rokoduguni and Aled Brew, who have eight tries between them already this season, continue in the back three positions for the trip to Wales.
Max Clark and Jonathan Joseph form the centre partnership, whilst Kahn Fotuali’i partners Priestland in the half-back combination.
Beno Obano, Tom Dunn and Anthony Perenise line up in the front row, with captain Charlie Ewels joining Charteris in the second row.
Zach Mercer, Sam Underhill and Taulupe Faletau will be keen to assert their authority on the game from the back row against last season’s PRO12 champions.
Form: The Scarlets will be looking to break down a sturdy Bath team that didn't concede a point last weekend in their 23-0 win over Benetton Rugby last weekend. This will be just the second match in Europe between the clubs after they met in the 2002 quarter-final, with the current PRO12 champions recording a 27-10 away win that day. Scarlets are unbeaten in their last three home matches (W2, D1) They have not gone four without defeat since 2006/07 when they reached the semi-finals. Bath have won nine of their last 12 against Welsh opposition in the competition, although they've not played against the regions since the 2008/09 pool stage when they faced the Dragons.
