Stade Français back Waisea Nayacalevu has been linked with a move to Top 14 finalists Toulon ahead of next season.
Midi Olympique report that the Fijian has asked to be released from the final year of his contract with that Parisian club, a few weeks after winning the Challenge Cup.
The 26-year-old is held in high regard having finished the Top 14 season with joint most tries on 13.
Nayacalevu is not part of Fiji's squad for the June Tests, having been last capped by his country last November against Japan.
Toulon's recruits ahead of next season include Chris Ashton, Raphaël Lakafia, Hugo Bonneval and Facundo Isa.
