Munster stayed top of the PRO12 standings after a late Ian Keatley drop goal gave them a hard fought 16-15 win over Glasgow at Scotstoun.
The league leaders remain top of the PRO12 pile despite the fact Glasgow looked likely to win the game having come from a heavy half-time deficit.
Two late tries looked to have given the hosts the win and a way into the title challenge, but in the end they had to settle for a losing bonus point as Ian Keatley, who was key throughout, won the game with the last meaningful kick of the match to break Scottish hearts.
In a largely quiet first half, it was Munster who had the best of the play, and the scoreline. After a tepid start, Keatley gave the visitors the lead from a penalty after play had initially carried on. Almost immediately, Munster scored the only try of the first 40, and it came through Andrew Conway who found himself on the end of a cross field kick before dotting down, with Keatley added the extras.
Having looked in danger of getting lost in the contest before it had even really begun, but Peter Horne scored from a central position having missed an attempt from an angle moments earlier. However, Munster returned to their 10-point advantage just before the break, and Keatley, who himself had been off target earlier in the night, made it 13-3 with the last score of the first half.
The first 20 minutes of the second half were largely quiet with both sides experiencing knock ons, but Ali Price delivered a moment of real quality, fighting through a barrage of defenders to go over. The try was converted and there were just three points in the contest.
Then, with 10 minutes to go, Glasgow took the lead for the first time through Mark Bennett who broke down the wing, opting to go alone rather than pass to a team-mate, and he made the correct choice, dotting down. The extras were not added though and only two points separated the sides.
That then proved crucial as Munster snatched the win with the last meaningful action of the game through Keatley's drop goal.
