Montpellier have suffered a blow ahead of the Top 14’s final round and play-offs after centre Vincent Martin was ruled out for the season.
Martin ruptured cruciate ligaments in his knee against La Rochelle, with the news compounded by Francois Steyn suffering a hamstring injury.
Antoine Battut and Benjamin Fall will also miss this week’s game against Stade Français while Alexandre Dumoulin, Wiaan Liebenberg, Yvan Reilhac and Jesse Mogg remain out.
Montpellier currently sit in third position in the Top 14 standings, two points off second-placed Clermont, who host La Rochelle this weekend.
