Lions head coach Swys de Bruyn has made one alteration to his starting XV for Saturday's encounter with the Jaguares in Johannesburg.
Andries Ferreira, who withdrew at the last minute before the game against the Sharks last weekend, is back and will pack down alongside Springbok lock Franco Mostert in the second row.
Marco Jansen van Vuren makes his way onto the bench and if he takes the field, will make his debut in Super Rugby.
The side will be captained by Springbok number eight Warren Whiteley who made a successful return to action in last weekend's 24-19 win over the Sharks after a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury.
