British and Irish Lions lock George Kruis is confident that the side will get over the loss of Billy Vunipola to injury given their depth.%u200B
Vunipola's withdrawal from the squad was confirmed last Sunday after Saracens' exit from the Premiership play-offs, when it was confirmed that Vunipola required shoulder surgery.
The England number eight was viewed as a key weapon for Lions boss Warren Gatland given his good form over the last couple of years, improving his fitness and proving to be a devastating ball carrier.
James Haskell has since been called up to replace Vunipola, and with Taulupe Faletau, CJ Stander and Ross Moriarty in the squad, Kruis knows that someone will be ready to step in.
"%u200BBilly is a quality player. Everyone knows what he is about, what his strengths are," Kruis told Sky Sports.
"It will be a loss, but we've got the best players around and someone will do that role.
"James Haskell is coming in. You look at where he has played, what he has played, the experience he will bring. And he is a top-quality tourist as well."
