Brive have completed the signing of Georgian international prop Giorgi Jgenti as a medical joker from Bayonne.
The former Perpignan tighthead has made just three league starts for Bayonne this season, having arrived in the Basque country during the off-season.
As a result, he was able to break his contract and join Brive, who were looking for a medical joker for Pat Barnard.
The 29-year-old had disappointed last year at Perpignan, after a three-year spell with Montpellier.
