Saracens secured a bonus-point 38-19 victory over injury-hit Wasps in their Premiership match at Allianz Park on Sunday afternoon.
Sarries and British and Irish Lions hooker Jamie George stole the show with a hat-trick of tries, much to his embarrassment when the crowd gave him intensely loud praise.
Saracens came out guns blazing at Allianz Park. They scored two early tries through Chris Wyles and George before an Alex Lozowski penalty handed them a 15-0 lead after 15 minutes.
The away side fired back when Marty Moore went over for a converted try for Wasps but Lozowski landed another penalty to hand his side an 18-7 lead at half-time.
Lozowski slotted two penalties just after half-time to extend his side's lead before British and Irish Lions hooker George scored his second five-pointer from the back of a lineout drive from five metres out.
George sealed his hat-trick of tries and a Sarries bonus point in identical fashion to his previous try and handed the home side a massive 31 point lead after another Lozowski conversion.
Wasps flanker Jack Willis restored some pride for the away side with an excellent catch and burst from a few metres out to go over the whitewash. Josh Bassett also went over in the corner after receiving a lofted pass after the final hooter sounded, but that could not deny Saracens a 38-19 win.
