Following an ultimately comfortable 28-8 victory for Ireland over Scotland, here are the five takeaways from the game at the Aviva Stadium.
Conor Murray always delivers: Such a threat around the ruck, Murray once again showed how dangerous he can be as he stepped up with a big try in a big game. The scrum-half has a knack of doing this and just when Ireland needed another score to strengthen the lead, up he popped.
Scottish inaccuracies killed them: Sloppy passes at key times were the Achilles heel of Scotland. The ball from Huw Jones to Stuart Hogg after his chip and regather went to ground, when the full-back had the line at his mercy, always looked like being a crucial mistake and so it proved. There were several other poor passes from the Scottish backs in Dublin that will rankle when they watch the video on Monday.
Garry Ringrose superb: With ball in hand and also defensively Ringrose was excellent on Saturday. His running game had Scotland in trouble throughout while he marshalled both Jones and Hogg well in the outside channel. Beat the most defenders and made the most tackles in the Irish backline at the Aviva Stadium. Not bad for a man who, due to injury, was third-choice outside centre before the tournament. A quality player.
Grand Slam looks on: Yes, it is Twickenham next week but in this kind of form Ireland look a side so confident in their own game and ready to take the next step in their progression. They mix their style so well through physical carries and width and with experienced heads in charge on the field they could well finish with five wins from five.
Promising start from Blair Kinghorn: An impressive first start for the Edinburgh full-back on the wing as he looked right at home in the international game. His ability to remain on his feet in small spaces saw him fight for crucial extra metres. Speaking of which he made a decent 67 metres and also got a try to boot. Kinghorn is highly thought of by Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend and it's easy to see why.
