Fardy guarding against complacency

Scott Fardy says that Leinster are guarding against any complacency as they continue their search for silverware on all fronts.

Leinster are looking to go one further than last year in which they were unable to secure a European Champions Cup home semi-final. This season, they are well on track to doing just that, having achieved victories in their last seven games in a row.

Leo Cullen's in-form side face Glasgow at the RDS before travelling to the south of France to play Montpellier over the next two weeks.

Wallabies loose forward Fardy was impressive in Saturday's 38-7 dismantling of Ulster at the RDS and has reassured everyone that, while the men from Dublin are high on confidence, they are keeping their feet firmly grounded.

"We're confident and that's important, but we're not over-confident," Fardy, a recent acquisition from the Brumbies during the summer, told the Irish Mirror.

The sides have met twice this season; the first a Champions Cup encounter in which Leinster came out on top 34-18, and the second a PRO14 clash which Glasgow won 31-21. Glasgow are first in Conference A and Leinster second in Conference B and it should be a fascinating duel between two high-class sides.

"We want to make sure that we get the prep right going into this big game," Fardy continued.

"We've got to make sure we're getting everything in order and are well focused leading into a big couple of weeks in Europe.

"It's been a pretty taxing schedule for a number of players."
