Exeter were crowned Anglo-Welsh Cup champions after they overpowered Bath in the final, winning 28-11 at Kingsholm on Friday.
The Chiefs pack proved too strong for their opponents as a double from hooker Jack Innard and one from lock Toby Salmon saw them prevail.
Cooper Vuna crossed for Bath but they can have few complaints as Exeter were deserved winners, thanks largely to their first-half showing.
Exeter showed their intent early as they snubbed a kickable penalty and instead went for the corner, with Innard going over from the line-out.
Joe Simmonds added to his conversion with a penalty goal on 12 minutes after Bath failed to roll away and it became 13-0 four minutes later.
Bath finally got on the board on 19 minutes when Exeter strayed offside in defence, with Freddie Burns knocking over the three off the tee.
Bath knew they needed the next try and fortunately it went their way as fly-half Burns set up Vuna, who finished superbly on the left wing.
But the rest of the half belonged to Exeter as first Innard crossed again from a line-out before lock Salmon crashed over to make it 25-8.
The second-half was a more cagey affair as only a Burns penalty was carded in the first 29 minutes, this after Greg Holmes was offside.
But the Chiefs were rarely under serious pressure after the turnaround, with fly-half Simmonds' long-range penalty keeping them way out of reach before they saw out the game to secure the first silverware of the season.
