Bath lock Charlie Ewels has been cited by Independent Citing Commissioner Paul Hull and is to appear before an independent disciplinary panel.
Ewels is charged with making a dangerous tackle on Gloucester’s Henry Trinder contrary to law 10.4(e). The incident occurred in the second=half of Bath’s narrow 22-21 defeat to Gloucester on Sunday.
The hearing will take place via teleconference on Wednesday 1 November at 18:30. The panel will be chaired by Gareth Graham with two panel members to be confirmed.
