England head coach Eddie Jones says he has found the right person to replace Rory Teague as England backs coach, with an announcement expected to be made in the coming days.
England have been without a backline coach since Teague left to take over the reins at Bordeaux last year. And Jones has intimated that it will be a familiar face.
After a poor Six Nations campaign, England fell to third in the World Rugby rankings below Ireland, but have a chance to bounce back when they embark on a three-Test tour of South Africa in June.
“Certainly we need to bring in another coach to help with the attack,” the England head coach told BBC Sport.
“We are looking to take another coach on tour, and I’ve got the right person for this tour.
“When the time is right we will announce it. It’s certainly someone I have worked with before.”
England play the Springboks in Johannesburg on June 9, Bloemfontein on June 16 and Newlands on June 23.
