Sale boss Steve Diamond will appear before an RFU Disciplinary panel charged with conduct prejudicial to the interests of the game.
The alleged offence, contrary to RFU Rule 5.12, followed the conclusion of their Anglo-Welsh Cup clash with Harlequins on Friday, February 3.
He is alleged to have verbally abused the match officials and will appear before a RFU Discipline panel chaired by Sam Hillas on Wednesday.
