Springbok wing Ruan Combrinck has allegedly suffered another injury that is expected to keep him out of action for a lengthy spell.
According to SA Rugby Magazine, Combrinck's shoulder was injured while playing for Japanese club, Kintetsu Liners. He is expected to return to South Africa for surgery.
A shoulder injury kept the Lions wing out the for large parts of Super Rugby earlier this year.
He also missed out on selection for the Springbok squad this year and coach Allister Coetzee said he did not have enough game time.
Combrinck’s latest injury may keep him out of the Springboks’ year-end tour to Europe as well.
