The Cheetahs have bolstered their back-line stocks by signing utility back AJ Coertzen and full-back Craig Barry for their PRO14 campaign.
Coertzen and Barry will be joining the Bloemfontein-based outfit's squad from 14 November and will be on loan from Griquas and Western Province respectively until the end of May.
Coertzen is a talented 27-year-old wing and full-back,who captained Griquas and played an integral role their Currie Cup campaign this year. He is expected to bring excitement and great value to the Cheetahs side.
Barry shone in the Varsity Cup for Stellenbosch University and made his Currie Cup debut for Western Province against the Free State Cheetahs this year. An exceptional leader and good communicator, he made the Junior Springbok squad in 2011 and captained the Varsity Cup Dream Team and Western Province for a couple of games in the 2017 SuperSport Challenge.
