Springbok prop Coenie Oosthuizen will undergo a scan to determine the scope of the rib injury he sustained against Argentina in Salta on Saturday.
Oosthuizen left the field in the second half of the Springboks’ 41-23 victory over los Pumas and was replaced by Trevor Nyakane.
Meanwhile, Springbok coach Allister Coetzee and captain, Eben Etzebeth will be available for brief stand-up media interviews on Tuesday morning in Cape Town shortly after their arrival from Argentina.
The Springbok squad returns home from Argentina for a few days and will assemble again on Friday, 1 September in Johannesburg, from where they will travel in two groups to Perth in Australia.
The Boks and Australia meet each other on Saturday 9 September in the third Test match of the 2017 Rugby Championship campaign.
