WHILE most of the transfer chatter has been surrounding Manchester United’s proposed £80million bid for Antoine Griezmann, there are many other intriguing storylines to consider.
You could even argue the most interesting moves will come from free agents, with a wide array of top European talent all currently available for nothing this summer.

GOALKEEPER

AMAZINGLY, veteran stopper Casillas' contract at Porto will be up this summer.
With 16 seasons at Real Madrid under his belt and two in the Primeira Liga - for a combined total of 797 appearances, the Spaniard would be a major coup for any club.
Casillas, 35, has even racked up an unbelievable 167 international caps in the past 17 years.
DEFENCE

PEP GUARDIOLA has made no bones about the fact he wants to bring in a host of new full-backs in the summer.
Frustrated by his current options, he has not offered Gael Clichy or Bacary Sagna new deals and they will both be available for nothing in the summer.
They could be teamed up with Chelsea legend John Terry and Real Madrid hard-man Pepe in a star-studded back four.
MIDFIELD

IF a club decided to, they could end up with a high-class Premier League midfield trio of Michael Carrick, Santi Cazorla and Yaya Toure.
With a combination of advancing years, perpetual niggles and manager rows under their belts, they would still represent a major coup for any side.
As a trio, they could form quite a dynamic and well-rounded group, too...
STRIKERS

UP front could see a formidable strike-force, including goal-happy United star Zlatan.
Ibrahimovic, along with ex-Liverpool duo Mario Balotelli and Fernando Torres, is available for nothing in the summer as things stand.
Jose Mourinho would surely offer the Swede star a new deal, but if not he could be plying his trade anywhere in the world next term.
