Zlatan Ibrahimovic is mobbed by Manchester United fans as he undergoes first training session

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC underwent his first training session with Manchester United on Thursday but he had to battle through a mob of waiting fans first.

The towering Swede joined up with his new teammates as his preparations for the upcoming season got underway.

As he left for United’s Carrington training ground, he needed to leave his Manchester hotel in good time after being bombarded by supporters asking for autographs and selfies.

It comes after a stressful start to life in England as Ibrahimovic and his family surprisingly swapped the renowned Lowry Hotel for Raddison Blu – located just five minutes away.

But the 34-year-old looked calm as he left the iconic five-star hotel wearing his shades and baggy shorts before security led him into a waiting car.

The veteran striker is hoping to be fit for United’s Community Shield final against Leicester on August 7 before they take on Bournemouth in the opening game of the Premier League season.

Elsewhere, Memphis Depay was seemingly doing his family duties when he was spotted taking his grandmother to Wing’s Chinese Restaurant.

He may need to make the most of it with increasing speculation that he won’t be part of Jose Mourinho’s plans.

The Holland international has struggled to cement a place in United’s first team following a disappointing debut season where question marks were raised over his attitude.
