VINCE MCMAHON has reportedly handed stepped down from WWE programming and handed control to Triple H.
But fear not wrestling fans, the legendary billionaire owner of the company will still be all hands on deck.

According to PWInsider, the 72-year-old is moving aside and handing over WWE’s 205 Live show to his son-in-law.
The programme features a number of top cruiserweights from around the world.
However, it is struggling to gain the popularity and viewership of its long-established Monday Night Raw and SmackDown rivals.
Since its introduction last year, WWE has attempted numerous storylines and angles in order to give it a boost.

McMahon believed that the show should be character driven.
That was why the controversial Enzo Amore was switched from the Raw roster to 205 Live.

He went on to become Cruiserweight Champion but was sacked by McMahon last month after allegations of rape made against him.
That has left the title vacant, and the programme’s new General Manager Drake Maverick announced a week ago that a tournament will now take place to crown a new champ.

The final of that will take place at WrestleMania 34 in April.
But with the dramatic recent changes in the show, McMahon has opted to leave the running of it behind-the-scenes to Triple H.

The Game, who is married to Vince’s daughter Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, is of the belief that 205 Live needs to be presented in a different format.
And he wants it to be similar to the Cruiserweight Classic tournament which took place prior to the show being launched.
That will mean that the focus will be on athletic characters and strong-in competition rather than storylines.
