WWE have confirmed Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is making a stunning return to wrestling in the UK.
The Heartbreak Kid retired from the ring eight years ago after he was defeated by The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26.
But British fans are set for a treat as the 52-year-old is set to make a comeback at the Royal Albert Hall alongside his fellow legend and his old DX partner Triple H.
Michaels is appearing in London on Monday 18 June at the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament.
And the night is sure to evoke plenty of memories for the Showstopper, who fought in the first-ever wrestling match at the iconic venue.
Michaels and his Rockers tag-team partner Marty Jannetty took on The Nasty Boys in the opening bout of the Battle Royal at the Royal Albert Hall way back in 1991.
As if HBK’s return to the Royal Albert Hall wasn’t enough, WWE fans can look forward to an appearance from Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative and a 14-time former world champion.
The WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament will feature competitors vying to earn an opportunity to challenge WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne the following night inside London’s most famous venue.
