FANS of Bosnia-Herzegovina produced a wall of flames before hurling hundreds of flares onto the pitch and halting their World Cup qualifier against Estonia.
Play was stopped on 14 minutes as the travelling supporters showed their displeasure at their team – resulting in the fire brigade darting onto the pitch to extinguish the red flames.

The eastern European side needed a miracle in their final match of qualification for Russia 2018 just to reach the play-offs.
Bosnia needed to win their away game and for minnows and pointless Gibraltar to to win in Greece.
They managed to do their part by defeating Estonia 2-1, but the Greeks romped to a 4-0 victory to end Bosnia’s hopes.
However, their masked hooded and bandana-wearing fans did not wait to vent their anger as they turned the skies red by lighting up flares before tossing them onto the field of play.

The match was held up until all the smoke had cleared.
And these incredible pictures from Tallinn show both sets of players covered by the smoke.
The ref was forced to take each side from the pitch and play was able to continue after the fire brigade put out and cleared the fireworks.
Bosnian striker Izet Hajrovic broke the deadlock shortly after half-time before Ilja Antonov equalised with a low drive.

But Hajrovic found the target again ten minutes later to seal the win.
That left his country third in the group on 17 points as they were unable to repeat their heroics from four years ago by reaching their second World Cup tournament.
