Her first saw her finish second last after scoring 25.00 following a failure to land a jump.

Fuller needed something special to make it into the qualifying spots but came up short on her second rotation in her second jump.

Upon making contact with the ground her board dug into the snow, launching her forward face-first.

Fuller was wearing a helmet but still the impact left its mark on her face, as she showed on social media.

The English snowboarder revealed a noggin covered in red scratches, most noticeably under her right eye and forehead.

She captioned the snap: “Took one to the grill.”

Her nose and left eye socket also showed results of the crash and she said: “That was pretty brutal. Just gutting really. I got it really good in training, so I was like yeah, this is the one, but not meant to be.”

Fuller was however backed by supporters who commented on the photo.
