Wimbledon 2017: Roger Federer marks his 100th clash with straight set win over Milos Roanic to book semi-final spot
ROGER FEDERER marked his 100th Wimbledon match with a straight set win over Milos Raonic as he moved within four of his 19th Grand Slam.
The Swiss superstar brushed aside the Canadian with a convincing 6-4, 6-2, 7-6 victory to set up a semi-final showdown with Tomas Berdych.

Raonic strolled onto the turf dressed the same as his illustrious opponent – even down to their Wilson rackets.
But it soon became clear there is only Federer as the greatest player of all time swept into the final four and a step closer to his EIGHTH Wimbledon championship.
And certainly the Centre court crowd were not fooled over who was who and who they wanted to advance to a 12th semi final with a supreme display.
With world no.1 Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic going out in the previous match the door is opening for him to win a another crown on Sunday.
Rafa Nadal’s dramatic exit on Monday means the last and the oldest of the big guns is still standing.
After gliding through the first two sets Federer, 35, got bogged down in the third when Raonic finally learned to play a bit like the bloke he was trying so hard to imitate with his pristine white headband.

Federer said: “You can always play a little bit better but then you can always play a lot worse so right now I’m happy.
“I can’t believe it’s 100 games. I’m just glad my body has held up and kept me going all these years.
“The conditions have changed. It felt a bit damp out there, not so hot and crisp as last week. It’s like going to work, you can’t always produce your best every single day but you just try ot make your average the best it can be.”
