Willian set to sign new four-year Chelsea contract despite interest from Jose Mourinho and Manchester United

WILLIAN is set to sign a bumper new contract at Chelsea.

And that will be bad news for his former boss Jose Mourinho who was desperate to take the Brazilian to Manchester United.

Chelsea and Willian’s representatives are still thrashing out the final details of a new four-year contract.

Willian has two years to run on the deal he signed when he joined the club for £32m from Anzi Makhachkala back in 2013

But the Blues have made it clear to United that they are not interested in losing a man who was their shining light in a dismal season

United were prepared to go over £60m to buy Willian but Chelsea strongly believe that the best is still to come of the attacking midfielder who will be 28 in August.

And they are not interested in selling a prime asset to Mourinho.
