What Cristiano Ronaldo said about Lionel Messi to mascot in tunnel before Deportivo win

CRISTIANO RONALDO discussed the Messi/Ronaldo debate with the mascots in the tunnel and all were in agreement as to who is the best in the world.

In the hilarious exchange the Real Madid star described his rival as “bad”.

Video revealed what was said in the tunnel ahead of Real’s 7-1 victory over Deportivo.

One young fan attempted to strike up conversation with his idol: “For me you are the best in the world and Messi is…”

Ronaldo cheekily cut in: “…Bad”

Another mascot chimed in too: “The worst! The worst!”

The 32-year-old chuckled and threw a thumbs up to the youngsters.

Even a focused looking Gareth Bale slipped out of the zone to have a giggle at the exchange.

Ronaldo and Messi have been fighting each other for the “best in the world” label for a decade and each have five Ballon d’Ors to their name.

But it is the Portuguese international who is the current title holder, though Ronaldo has suffered a tough campaign so far this term.

Though his lighthearted mocking of Messi may have spurred him back to his scoring ways as Ronaldo found the back of the net twice after scoring just four times in 14 La Liga games.

His game didn’t end in jokes and giggles however, as his diving header goal left the ace with a face gushing with blood.
