WEST HAM are reportedly plotting a £3million move for Jonny Evans – just a month after West Brom demanded £30m from Arsenal and Manchester City.
The Mirror claims Evans will be able to leave for a bargain price if the Baggies are relegated this summer.
West Brom were hoping to tie the 30-year-old down to a lucrative new contract.
But Alan Pardew failed to convince Evans to commit his future to West Brom and now faces losing his skipper for pittance.
The Midlands club are bottom of the table and are seven points off safety.
They’ve won just once in 14 Premier League games since Pardew’s appointment in late November.

And West Brom now face a mass exodus should they drop down to the Championship, with the likes of Jay Rodriguez, Salomon Rondon and Jake Livermore all earning big wages.
But losing Evans for such a paltry fee after receiving bids of £20m for him in January will surely be the biggest blow.

The former Manchester United centre-back has been a stalwart in defence, and West Ham may not be the only club in for his signature.
Arsenal and City remain admirers, while Everton boss Sam Allardyce would love to bring Evans to Goodison Park.
