SLAVEN Bilic demanded the West Ham board sell wantaway star Dimitri Payet for less than their valuation to force him out, SunSport understands.
The 29-year-old winger completed his move back to France on Sunday for £25m – £10m less than the Hammers wanted.

But Bilic and his West Ham stars were desperate to get him out of the London Stadium, and pushed for him to be sold.
And the Hammers will get 25 PER CENT of any future transfer fee should Payet be sold by Marseille, it can be revealed.
A West Ham source said: “The manager and players wanted him out, he wasn’t welcome any more.

“After everything that had happened, the club just cut all ties with him. It’s better off that he is gone.
“Bilic and the players put pressure on the board to get rid of him as they felt he was a trouble-maker. They got their wish.
“There is a huge 25 per cent sell-on clause in the deal as well, which should help bolster the fee if Marseille do sell.”

West Ham could also get around £3m in add-ons should Payet help Marseille achieve certain goals.
The £25m fee paid for the Frenchman wipes out the cost of defender Jose Fonte and winger Robert Snodgrass.

But the Hammers look likely to miss out on the £15m signing of Brentford striker Scott Hogan before the deadline passes.
West Ham paid just £10.7m for Payet from Marseille in 2015, and he went on to score eleven goals in 48 appearances.
