WEST HAM’S former Upton Park home looks almost unrecognisable as demolition work draws towards its close.
The Hammers left the famous old Boleyn Ground at the end of the 2015-16 season, with work to tear it down now taking over a year.

Slaven Bilic’s side now host their games at the flashy 66,000-seated London Stadium.
However pictures from Friday show remarkably different scenes, with the area completely unrecognisable.
Just some rubble and the mangled remnants of an old stand remain on the East London site.
West Ham played their last game at the stadium on May 10, 2016 – when they beat Manchester United 3-2.

Irons fans struggled to come to terms with saying goodbye to Upton Park as they waved away unforgettable memories in moving into the stadium originally built for the Olympic Games in 2012.
Supporters were not the only people who found the transition hard, with the players also under-performing in their new stadium.

Shortly after their move, fans found it difficult to bring their atmosphere from Upton Park into their new home.
A series of fights broke out in the new arena as the Hammers stumbled to 11th in the Premier League in 2016-17.
