WEST Ham have not given up on signing an AC Milan striker this summer, but it might be M’Baye Niang, and not Colombian international Carlos Bacca.
Bacca’s agent was reportedly in London for talks with Irons chiefs earlier this month but no deal has yet been done.

The move for Bacca came on the back of failed bids for Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson and Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette.
The Hammers are also keen on Lacazette’s £20million-rated Lyon team-mate Nabil Fekir.
But according to Calcio Mercato, it now seems Bacca’s Rossoneri team-mate, Niang, is now being considered as an alternative as Hammers boss Slaven Bilic looks to get some more firepower.

The 21-year-old £11million-rated Frenchman scored five goals in sixteen Serie A matches last season.
Liverpool were reportedly interested in doing a swap for him with Mario Balotelli, which Milan rejected.
Niang also has a bit of a off-field reputation too.
He pretended to be somebody else when police stopped him for driving without a licence and recently published a video online appearing to show him jumping into a pool from the roof of his house.

That came after Niang had been out of action for a three months after being involved in a car crash in February.
Milan were not impressed and released a statement saying that the stunt ‘didn't go unnoticed’.
As a result, Milan have reportedly put Niang on the transfer list, and the Hammers are keen to swoop, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
