West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna tweets score of yesterday’s 4-2 loss to Watford and gets roasted by fans
ANGELO OGBONNA was at the Olympic Stadium to see his West Ham side’s dire capitulation against Watford – he was on the subs bench for the entire 90 minutes.
The Italian international defender would surely have seen just how angry the 56,000 Hammers fans inside the ground were, some even stooping as low as fighting each other in the stands when they conceded four goals in just 22 minutes.
So what went through the 28-year-old’s mind when he decided to tweet the 4-2 scoreline to his 61,500 followers only he will know.
As predictably as an Andy Carroll injury layoff, West Ham’s faithful did not see the funny side of Ogbonna’s Twitter post, laying into his unhelpful reminder.
