But who is YOUR team’s most crocked man? We take a look at all Premier League’s clubs and their physio favourites…

Newcastle are the most injury-hit team, with a whopping 5,172 days missed in total, spanning 137 injuries to 35 different players.

But it’s Curtis Good accounting for a huge chunk of that, missing 501 days by himself, just from the start of the 2014-15 season.

Elsewhere, a host of well-known injury flops make the list, including Luke Shaw, Danny Welbeck and Andy Carroll.

United full-back Shaw has missed 449 days, with Welbeck and Carroll on 354 and 428 days respectively.

Stephen Ireland (494 days), Jon Flanagan (492) and Bryan Oviedo (454) are three other stars to easily crack the one-year injured barrier.

Of course, it’s not just days and players lost… it’s money splurged on wages while stars are injured too clubs need to consider.

In fact, Manchester United have lost £52.5million with 187 separate injuries in the past three season, with rivals Manchester City close behind on £48.4m.

Arsenal and Liverpool have both also lost over £40m on injuries, with famously-frugal Tottenham miles behind those on a mere £19m.

Elsewhere, Chelsea – who have lost nearly £24m on injuries – have only seen 98 injuries in the past three years.

While that may seem a lot, compared to United (187), Liverpool (162), Arsenal (147), City (146) and Spurs (124), it’s comparatively few.
