Pulis is a fan of Deeney’s flexibility, the Brummie can operate as a main striker or in the deeper number 10 role.
Despite enjoying an excellent season, the Baggies lack of goals will be a concern for Pulis looking ahead to next season.
His main forwards Saloman Rondon and Hal-Robson Kanu have notched just nine Premier League goals between them.
