Wayne and Coleen Rooney look glum as they land at Manchester airport after returning from sunny week on yacht in Ibiza

WAYNE ROONEY and wife Coleen looked glum as they returned from a week in Ibiza.

The pair had been seen enjoying the blazing sunshine on the Spanish island as the England captain tried to forget about his disappointing showing at Euro 2016, where the Three Lions faced a humiliating exit at the hands of Scandinavian minnows, Iceland.

Wayne Rooney doesn’t appear to be pleased to back from Ibiza holiday

The Rooneys had been sunbathing and enjoying with friends on their luxury yacht during a relaxing week.

Coleen showed off her tan as they landed at Manchester airport.

But neither looked particularly pleased at returning to the glum English weather.

Wayne Rooney will at least be able to look forward to working under a new manager and at least three new team-mates at Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho was officially unveiled as the new Red Devils boss on Tuesday, which came just four days after Zlatan Ibrahimovic was confirmed as a new signing.

And Henrikh Mkhitaryan followed the Swede through the Old Trafford door as he completed his move yesterday.

Eric Bailly was Mourinho’s first signing at the club.
