WATFORD have reportedly made an enquiry to Sunderland for out of favour midfielder Didier Ndong.
The Gabon international is struggling for match action at the Stadium of Light and has only made two substitute appearances since early November.

But the Watford Observer claims that the Hornets are ready to offer him an escape route out of Wearside by making an £8million move.
Marco Silva‘s side are one of a number of clubs plotting a swoop for the 23-year-old.
However, midfield is an area Watford are desperate to strengthen and they are determined to get in for Ndong ahead of their rivals.
They have been rocked by injuries to a number of key men in that department.

Nathaniel Chalobah and Will Hughes are both out for the long-term, which means Abdoulaye Doucoure has had to start every game in the Premier League for which he has been available.
Ben Watson has also found himself called back into action over the festive period, making his first start since May 2016.

Despite Sunderland’s relegation last season, Ndong was one of the better performers under David Moyes.
