Quique Flores is in the dark over his future at Watford.
The Spanish coach has had no contact from famously cut-throat club owner Gino Pozzo over the club’s plans next season.

Privately, Flores fears that Pozzo could even make another shock managerial change.
Flores took over last summer and has guided Watford to midtable security and the semi-finals of the FA Cup
He still has one year left of his current deal but is unsure about Pozzo’s plans.
Flores became Watford’s fifth manager in the space of 12 months – even though they won promotion to the Premier League.

In the last two months, Pozzo has already sacked the managers at both Udinese and Granada – the two other clubs he owns.
Flores, who has previously managed Valencia, Benfica and Atletico Madrid, is understood to love English football and is keen to stay.
He already has an offer of returning to Spain but believes he can help consolidate Watford in English football’s top flight.

Equally, there are concerns that some of Watford’s players have taken their foot off the gas following their outstanding first half of the season.
Skipper Troy Deeney also got permission to miss training to go on TV – and then opted out of a session the next day.
Deeney went on Sky’s Soccer AM show over the international weekend after being given the green light by Flores.
But Deeney missed an “optional” training on the Sunday to the surprise of some of his team-mates but he did not break any rules.
