Welsh football fans were left fuming when a sports store in capital city Cardiff launched a big promotion of the new England shirt just weeks before the countries become rivals at Euro 2016.
Wales and England face each other in Group B in the European Championship which kicks-off next month.

But locals in Cardiff couldn’t believe their eyes when JD Sports in the city decided they should advertise the strip of their biggest competitors rather than the Wales kit.
Rhydian Bowen Phillips started the ball rolling by tweeting: “Hang on, I could’ve sworn that I woke up in Wales today?!? Outside JDsportsfashion in Cardiff Bay! C’mon mun.”

In reply one fan wrote: “No way! JD sports you should be ashamed.”
Another said: “They sell England shirts everywhere. No need to advertise it, especially in Wales.”
One just wrote: “Insulting.” Within an hour of Rhydian’s tweet they had been removed.

The social media backlash got through to the chain, and the posters were removed soon after.
Mr Bowen Phillips said: “I am so glad they have been taken down. I just couldn’t believe it when I saw it this morning as it just seemed to show complete ignorance.
“There is no way you would see Welsh shirts being advertised outside English stores.”
People have also been emailing the company to complain after the advert was shared widely on social media.
