Wales squad spray themselves cool as things are getting hotter for Group B table toppers in Euro 2016

CHRIS COLEMAN was in high spirits as he took Wales training on Wednesday.

The Dragons boss has seen his Group B underdogs top the table ahead of British rivals England, and Slovakia and Russia.

Now the former Fulham manager knows his side have the best possible chance of reaching the Euro 2016 final, with either Northern Ireland or Turkey likely opponents in the next round.

And the elation around the Wales camp must have been infectious, with coach Paul Trollope sharing a laugh with the gaffer.

Coleman, 46, still put his players through the paces though at their training ground in Dinard, northwestern France.

Keeper Wayne Hennessey – who kept a clean sheet against Russia – took part in some shot-stopping practise.

Midfield duo David Vaughan and David Edwards were seen covering themselves with anti-inflammatory spray in a bid to ensure fitness for their next clash.

Star man Gareth Bale has fired the team through to the last 16 and is currently chasing the Golden Boot on three goals.

And if they come through the knockout stage unfazed they will equal their record of reaching a quarter-final of a major tournament.

The Dragons made it to the last eight in the 1958 World Cup – and have already smashed their history books for the Euros, having never qualified before.
