Vitesse Arnhem winger Navarone Foor taken out by referee… and hilariously shows him a yellow card

VITESSE ARNHEM winger Navarone Foor retaliated after being taken out by the referee this weekend… by hilariously showing him a yellow card.

Match official Jochem Kamphuis clattered into Foor as the game went on and then stumbled over himself.

The ref then hit the deck, joining the Dutch star after the bizarre collision.

The Vitesse winger then pinched Kamphuis’ cards and cheekily “booked him”… with the referee fortunately seeing the funny side.

Whether Foor showed the match official yellow for impeding him or “diving” afterwards remains to be seen.

The incident occurred on the hour mark of the Eredivisie game, with Vitesse leading 2-0.

The sixth-placed side went on to thump basement boys 5-0… with FC Twente officially relegated following the defeat.

Foor’s booking of Kamphuis was reminiscent of Paul Gascoigne‘s equally hilarious incident during his days at Rangers in 1995.

During the clash with Hibernian, Gazza booked referee Dougie Smith after the latter dropped his cards… only for the England man to outrageously sent-off.

Rangers won the game 7-0, but to this day fans still criticise the pitiful, pedantic decision by Smith to show Gascoigne red for his playful moment.
