But the 23-year-old is already thinking of turning her hand to professional wrestling.

VanZani told MMA Junkie: “It’s just another platform for us UFC fighters to make a name for ourselves.

“I know Ronda is going to do awesome at it, and she’s going to make a name for herself in the WWE.

“I’m a fighter first and foremost, but if the opportunity ever came knocking, I’m not one to turn opportunities down.

VanZant – known as “12 Gauge” – is thought to have come close to a WWE fight in 2016 – at SummerSlam.

But that bout was scuppered because she had a contest scheduled at UFC Vancouver for the following week.

She is already quite a celebrity on a wider stage thanks to appearing on America’s Dancing with the Stars two years ago, finishing as runner-up.

She was also on a reality TV cooking series called Chopped.

Apart from 31-year-old Rousey, Brock Lesnar, 40, has also made the switch to WWE.

And, as well as the extra publicity, VanZant might see the move as a chance to revive her overall fighting career, which seems to be stuttering in UFC.
