UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping was stunned to be marched off a flight, thoroughly searched and then returned to his seat on the plane.
The British MMA star claimed his Norwegian Airlines trip took a funny turn on Sunday afternoon with no explanation for the strange goings on.

The hardman explained to his Twitter followers how he was removed from the plane while airline staff searched him and his empty chair for any contraband.

Bisping said: “Norwegian airlines just removed me from my flight for a random search.
“Including searching my seat in case maybe I hid something lol.
“So now back on. Wtf! Crazy. Proper searched.”
Bisping thought he had a giant summer fight lined up with Canadian icon Georges St-Pierre this summer but the mouth-watering MMA match-up collapsed.
Instead the brawler fancies a ruck with the winner of the upcoming clash between Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker.
And he has promised fans they will see him back in the octagon before 2018 starts.

Bisping said: “I am very, very hungry to compete. It's been a while now for me.
“It's June so it's been seven months since I've fought. For me, that's a long time.
“Throughout my career, I've always been very busy and I'm getting that itch. I really am. I want to get in there. I want to fight.
“We talk every week about people who talk shit about me running and that type of stuff.

“The fact of the matter is that I'll be back in there pretty soon hopefully. By the end of the year, I will fight. That's a guaranteed fact. It's been a while and I am getting that itch.
“I don't know what my next fight is going to be.
"Unfortunately, it's probably not going to be GSP.
“It's probably going to be the winner of Whittaker vs. Romero.”
