UFC commentator Joe Rogan breaks down Miesha Tate v Amanda Nunes at UFC 200
THREE UFC world titles are on the line on July 9 at UFC 200 as the UFC puts on the biggest night of fights in its history at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Here, UFC co-commentator Joe Rogan takes a closer look at one of those title matchups, as newly-crowned UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate makes the first defence of her title against dangerous Brazilian contender Amanda Nunes.
First defence: Miesha Tate puts her newly-won belt on the line at UFC 200
Tate secured the title with a last-gasp submission finish of former champ Holly Holm at UFC 196, while Nunes booked her place in the title matchup with victory on the same event, against Russia’s Valentina Shevchenko.
Now the pair will do battle in Las Vegas for the women’s 145lb world title.
Dangerous contender: Brazil’s Amanda Nunes
And Rogan is anticipating a spectacular matchup between the gritty Tate and the powerful Nunes when the pair meet in the centre of the Octagon on July 9.
