Tyson Fury vows to ‘kiss the feet’ of any man who beats him in the boxing ring

TYSON FURY has promised to kiss the feet of any man who can beat him as he plots his ring return after almost three years out.

The former unified world heavyweight champion will step between the ropes at Manchester Arena on Saturday to face Albanian journeyman Sefer Seferi, 39.

His ultimate target is to become the undisputed ruler of the world by ripping the IBF, WBA and WBO titles off Anthony Joshua as well as the WBC belt held by American Deontay Wilder.

Fury insisted: “If I can’t wipe the floor with the full division, I’ll get on my knees and whoever beats me, I’ll kiss his two feet.

“That’s how confident I am of annihilating the full division. If I can’t beat Wilder, Joshua, Sefer Seferi and whoever else wants a fight then I’ll just say I never was any good and I should never have been boxing.”

The Gypsy King, 29, has a 25-0 record but has not stepped in the ring since taking the world heavyweight crown from Wladimir Klitschko on points in November 2015.

A battle with depression saw Fury give up his belts and he accepted a two-year ban for drug use.

But ahead of his return, the 6ft 9in Mancunian giant has taken inspiration from some of the world’s greats.

BOX OFFICE Hearn reveals the three huge fights he had planned for Tyson Fury’s comeback

Fury said: “The great Sugar Ray Leonard came back after five years to fight one of the best middleweights of all time in Marvelous Marvin Hagler, and still beat him.

“If I can’t come back after just under three years and beat someone then I’m no good, clearly.”

Fury looked deeper into his crystal ball, adding: “What did I tell you I was going to do to Wladimir in Germany?

“Whatever I say is bang on the nail and when I say that I’m going to beat Joshua and Wilder, I am going to make it easy as well.

“I will hit Joshua with six left hooks in the finisher. I will hit him with six left hooks in a row.  You heard it here first.

“Joshua and Wilder have lit a fire under me — I have nightmares about these guys.

“The nightmares consist of me wanting to smash their faces right in but not having the opportunity to do so.

“When I get the opportunity, I will annihilate them both. You heard it here first.”
