CARL FRAMPTON is taking his former manager Barry McGuigan to court over money disputes from his previous fights.
The two-weight world champion split with Cyclone Promotions last summer, and has since lodged a writ at the High Court in Northern Ireland against the 56-year-old, his wife Sandra McGuigan and the company.
A preliminary hearing has been adjourned in Belfast on Friday, to decide the proper jurisdiction for the 30-year-old’s claims.
Frampton’s writ is a counter-claim after proceedings were brought against him by Cyclone Promotions back in November.
