Poch said: “I take it in a positive way. We are talking — a good thing — extending contracts, them wanting time and showing commitment. It is fantastic. Why not talk about that?”

Kane is way down the pay scale at Tottenham, despite being their top scorer and highest English marksman in the Premier League for the last two seasons.
But his contract — which he signed in early 2015 and has 3½ years to run (plus the option of an extra year) — means his basic pay of around £50,000-a-week is a lot less than some of his team-mates, including new boy Moussa Sissoko.

Keeper and captain Lloris is on around £85,000-a-week and out of contract in June 2019.
Like Kane, he wants a new deal worth more than £100,000-a-week — but Spurs have so far refused to meet their demands despite giving Mousa Dembele, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Christian Eriksen, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose new terms.
