REAL MADRID want to reward German playmaker Toni Kroos with a new contract, according to reports.
Pep Guardiola tried to lure the midfielder, 26, to Manchester City this summer but Kroos was quick to distance himself from speculation.

According to Marca, the gesture did not go unnoticed and Madrid chiefs are willing to make Kroos the club’s fourth top earner behind Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Sergio Ramos.
Kroos’ current deal expires in 2020 but Real are hoping to tie the ex-Bayern Munich ace down until 2022 or 2023.
Reports suggest a new contract could be drawn up in the coming weeks as Bernabeu bosses aim to secure Kroos’ future as soon as possible.
