TIM SHERWOOD has been charged by the FA for using abusive and/or insulting and/or improper words and/or behaviour towards a Match Official.
The former Tottenham boss is now director of football at Swindon and got into a bust-up with an official during half-time of the Robins’ 1-0 loss at Bury.

James Vaughan converted a controversial penalty in the 37th minute of the match and Sherwood went down the tunnel to remonstrate with officials at the break.

Since taking charge at The County Ground, the former midfielder has moved from one disaster to the next.
In a break with the traditional director of football role, Sherwood has bizarrely appeared on the touchline on many occasions to ‘assist’ manager Luke Williams.
But in his first match in the dugout, Swindon were dumped out of the FA Cup, losing 3-1 at home to non-league side Eastleigh.

And just two weeks ago he was mercilessly trolled during a Football manager Q&A session.
The former White Hart Lane boss was asked questions such as: “What happens when “run around a bit” and 4-4-2 don’t work?”
While another fan mocked his 59 per cent win ratio at Tottenham, saying: "Considering that Antonio Conte has an 80% win ratio at Chelsea, is a 59% win ratio still 'second to none'?"
Swindon are currently 22nd in League One, four points from safety.
