WE are all glued to the screen when Bolt takes his position on the starting blocks but for one Jamaican mum the excitement was too much to bear.
Hilarious footage has gone viral on Twitter of the excited Jamaican cheering Bolt on with cymbals.

The 23 second clip was uploaded by daughter Kendra Hansey who was amused by her mum’s reaction.
In the film, which was captioned “How my Jamaican mother watches @usainbolt: #Rio2016”, the mum is shown excitedly willing the runner to take first place.
She shouts: “Come, come, come Bolt come!”
As the race continues she screams: “Give it everything boy!”

As Bolt takes the lead she becomes increasingly animated, bashing the cymbals together.
When he crosses the finish line in first place her jubilation takes over and the film cuts off just as she cries out: “YESSSSS, YESSS WAAOOOO!”
The post has been re-tweeted almost 5,000 times and has received 5,789 likes.
Amused Twitter users have commented: “Your mom made my ENTIRE heart smile. This is so accurate!!!”

Another said: “I love her enthusiasm but she couldn’t be my neighbor.”
While a third chipped in: “Is your mom available to be hired as audience support for business presentations?”
